Fri = 3D Movies and ice cream,
Sat = Radio 1 Big Weekend, Champions League Final, Eating and drinking like a King…
Sun = Winning a cup final, broken ribs, OUT OUT to celebrate, nightclubs and dancing like a Queen…
Safe to say the weekend was epic and out of the norm for me.
I also had a few texts & messages from people feeling guilty about having a few drinks or foods they wouldn’t normally.
SO THIS IS FOR YOU
IT’s OK
to fall off the wagon…
to let your hair down…
to have fun…
to eat what you like…
to get pissed…
IT’S NOT OK TO GIVE YOUR SELF A HARD TIME AND FEEL GUILTY ABOUT IT ;)
Everyone who is part of the Reactive family works their ass off 80/90% of the time so that they can relax and enjoy life.
Everything in moderation, for me the weekend was the first time I had a serious drink since the Christmas holidays.
Was the first time I had eat rubbish for a few weeks
Was the first time I had stayed out clubbing past midnight in 2014
Was the first time I have been OUT OUT for a long long time
And guess what?
I LOVED IT
Im suffering today with broken ribs (tell you about that laters) and the hangover from hell but it was worth it.
And from today I will restart my healthy routine (might need to skip training for a while)
Don’t let little minor setbacks deter you from your goal, like taking a wrong turn the satnav quickly reroutes…
The destination is still the same, yes it might take you a little bit longer to get there but the journey is much more enjoyable ;)
It’s not meant to be a straight road, so it’s time to stop holding on and time to start moving on.
Sometimes we feel that guilty that we adopt the fuck it attitude, that you have made 1 mishap that you may as well give up all together.
Don’t be that person, small blips are nothing if you stay on the journey…
Tomorrow is a new day, it’s another chance to make some progress to get back on track.
Take 1 day at a time and just focus on trying to make each day better than the last ;)
Before you know it that blip you spent so long beating yourself up about seems like a distant memory.

P.P.S Until the next time ;)
